We'll create an interactive AR trail of the festival and its spaces. possibly focusing on the MozEx exhibits in each space in order to focus the trail (although we are keen to include other sessions happening too). participants can download the Gamar app before the day or on the day. they can use the AR trail to discover the festival and its activities. When they visit different spaces, there will be a possibility of them gaining a virtual badge/sticker from Gamar. Those interested in how the trail is created and in scanning some of their own stops at the festival can also join us in the Arts and Culture space to demo our CMS and help us to develop the trail over the weekend.
Agenda
Visitors can either download Gamar before they arrive at the fesitval and dive right into the trail on their arrival, or they can visit us in our demo area i the digital arts and culture space to find out more about gamar then head off to experience the trail. they will need a smart device with the app installed in order to scan the different AR stations along the way. we will set up these stations on the Friday of the event weekend.
Participants
Any number of visitors can take part at one time on their own devices in the venue
Outcome
Participants will understand how AR and Gamar can support people to gain a more in depth experience in a venue or setting. They will understand how Gamar is used in arts and heritage settings to enhance the visitor and educational experience, and how they can use our DIY area to set up their own trail in their venue.
