What will happen in your session?

At last year's Mozfest we started Nerdcator.org, a community-curated list and visualization of 'nerdy' (in the widest sense) travel recommendations, think meteor craters, famous scientist's grave, fun museums, geological formations, and all the other things that your typical travel guide might miss. This year we want to do a do-athon/data-collectathon and fill the missing spots on our maps. Together we'll find and map out those places.

What is the goal or outcome of your session?

Our main goal is to extend our curated list and map of interesting things to visit that's openly and freely accessible. Furthermore participants will have fun and interesting conversations about their most nerdy travel experiences, inspiring future trips to come.

Projector to show the map/site. Open space with tables where people can prop computers and work on the forms/site.
