What will happen in your session?

On the back of the textAV event a team worked on making captioning workflow into an app to speed up and simplify the process.

The session will start with a brainstorm and knowledge share from the participants on what are their current workflows and solutions.

Participants will then be introduced to Captions Maker open source app build as part of the textAV.tech event in NYC july 2017.

What is the goal or outcome of your session?

An understanding of how to use their time more efficiently when making captions. As well as the advantages for accessibility.

Demo for demonstration purposes only. (click load, and then align). The app auto transcribes, auto punctuation, after the user has corrected the text, it auto segments and aligns to create ready to use captions.

@pietrop - I'm seeking clarity on your stipend request. Your proposal has made it through to the next phase of consideration by the Digital Inclusion wrangler team. Unfortunately though, we've got way more seeking stipends than we have access to. If we were unable to give you access to a stipend, might you have other means available to you to make it to Mozfest? If you would like we can also have this conversation via email.
