What will happen in your session?

One of Mozilla's principles of openness and participation: "Individuals’ security and privacy on the Internet are fundamental and must not be treated as optional."

Based on this principle, Mozilla and the Tor Project have started an intense collaboration to make the Web more secure and more private. We are adding the most advanced and valuable privacy features which can benefit both Firefox and Tor Browser users.

In this session, we will share the following topics:

• What is Tor and the Tor Browser
• How to protect your privacy by using Tor
• Anti-tracking protection technology
  • First Party Isolation
  • Browser fingerprinting resistance
• Upcoming advanced privacy features in Firefox
• The future of Web browser regarding privacy

What is the goal or outcome of your session?

We hope to achieve these goals by this talk:

• To awaken people to the threat to Internet privacy
• To break the misconception that Tor is equal to dark/evil things
• To educate people on how to protect their privacy on the Web
• To shed light on our vision of Web browsers in terms of privacy
• To advocate the accomplishment of the collaboration between Mozilla and Tor
