Hello @Jayapreethi! Thank you for your proposal! I wanted to ask if the travel stipend is necessary for you to be able to attend Mozfest or if you'd be able to attend without one?
It sounds like you're planning to cover a lot of topics! How much time do you think you'd be spending on each topic? If you could provide a bit more detail about this that would be great. Thanks!
Hello @jonathanprozzi Thank you for the response. Yes, we would be able to attend MozFest only if stipend could be provided.
Yes we would be covering all those topics mentioned, first we would give a lecture on the topics web development and the web tools for about 20 min. Then the hands-on session would be explained for another 10 min, and it would be conducted for the rest 30 min in which the developers tools would also be discussed. Thank you.
Hello @Jayapreethi - thank you for your proposal. Unfortunately, due to the high demand for travel stpidends this year, we will not be able to offer one for your session and therefore cannot accept your proposal into our space. Thanks for submitting and for your understanding.
Hello @Jayapreethi - I'm sorry that we sent the wrong message when requesting additional information about the travel stipend. We are all first-time wranglers for the festival this year and were encouraged to check in on stipend requests early in the process to make session selection easier. I'm sorry that it sent the wrong message and created an expectation that the session was shortlisted, that is our fault. We had very many submissions at the festival this year and were only able to select a small percentage.
Thank you for taking the time to submit a session to MozFest. Due to the high level of submissions, we’re unable to accept all proposals and unfortunately, your session was not part of the final group.
Thank you for taking the time to submit and we will follow up on email very soon.
Hello @flukeout Sorry for the inconvenience that may have caused you ! We dont require the stipend to attend the mozfest ...Is it possible to choose our session now ?
Hello @Jayapreethi - thank you for the update. I'll be meeting with the rest of the scheduling team for our space tomorrow, so I'll get back to you after that.
thanks for the response @flukeout

Hi @Jayapreethi - as a travel stipend is no longer required, I'm adding this session back to the Web Literacy Space! Welcome! We'll be in touch via github about next steps. Thank you.
Hi @flukeout ! thank you for adding this session in web literacy space :)
Hello @Jayapreethi - can you please provide a brief outline of your proposed session? Please include a brief description of each activity that you will be leading people through as well as a time estimate for each step. Thank you, and let us know if you have any questions!
Additionally, here are a couple of useful links:
Thank you @flukeout , I'll surely make use of it 👍
Hello, we've created the first version of the Web Literacy Space schedule for the weekend and wanted you to have a look...
Please take a few minutes to locate your session (I've had to abbreviate the session names) and let us know if you have any questions or if there are any reasons that you cannot host your session during the chosen time (like a travel conflict or another session you are hosting at the same time). Please comment in this issue and and include @flukeout
to get my attention.
We'll be finalizing the schedule next week and updating the Guidebook app that attendees will use during the festival.
Thanks!
Hello @Jayapreethi , I need to ask you to give me the Email contact of all the additional Facilitators in your Session. You can send me by Email at the address: edovio@mozillaitalia.org. Thanks you & see you at the MozFest!!!
Hi @edovio , Please check your Email for my additional facilitators email contact .
Hello @flukeout , I am okay with the schedule which you have fixed, so please freeze it without any changes.
Hello @Jayapreethi - I'm writing to see if you (or any co-facilitators) would be interested in helping out with the Thimble Zone. I'm trying to organize a few folks with HTML, CSS & JS skills who would like to demo mozilla's Thimble Editor. We'll have a few laptops set up with a sign and it would be great if we had a few volunteers to introduce people to it as well as get them started on some kind of beginner-friendly projects (or any ideas you may have).
If you're interested, let me know, and please also jump into the Etherpad and add your name and interest. I've also started a #thimble-zone channel in the Mozfest slack. Let me know if you have any questions!
Hello Luke , I am interested and few of my team members might be a part of it ...Can i know the exact shedule of this thimble editor demo ? so that we can plan accordingly :)

What will happen in your session?
Our session will begin via explaining the impacts of web technology and its developments. We would be discussing about the roles and the services offered by Mozilla in web technology. We would also be explaining about the web tools that are offered for the developers and their performance. We would be discussing the compatibility of the developers with web technology and tools offered by Mozilla. We would also be learning how to develop a website using the development tools. To make our session more interesting we would be conducting a hands-on using the Debugger tool and the Audio API tool.
What is the goal or outcome of your session?
The aim of our session is to provide information about the web tools for the developers. This helps the participants to have a clear idea on how a website is developed and usage of tools. Our hands-on session would help the participants for the better usage of tools and experience them.
If your session requires additional materials or electronic equipment, please outline your needs.
