Hi there Remi,

This sounds interesting, but could you provide a link or some sources about 'brav' (I'm not familiar with it, and perhaps provide a brief outline of hos this is relevant to the brief for the Decentralisation space? Am very happy to help you with the latter if that'd be useful - for reference, the brief is:

The year is 2027: Who owns the Internet?

In the dystopian version of 2027, the Internet is owned by a powerful few. Big tech corporations, select media companies and closed governments control the content on the Internet, the data that flows across the Internet and how people connect to the Internet. This dystopian future is closer than you may think.

On the flip side, what is the utopian version of the Internet in 2027? What future do we want to build? Where do emerging technologies like AI, mesh networking and Blockchain fit in? How do we ensure people are the most important part of the Internet?

Join us at Mozfest as we look into the future. Dystopian, utopian or somewhere in between — let’s explore the Internet of 2027.

Many thanks!

Tim

Tim,

I am so happy to share.

In answer to your questions:

Ordinary netizens own the internet in 2027. The United Nations recently declared that the internet is a basic human right. It's important to use that to achieve our mission.

That includes training ordinary people to become the online component in conflict management which is an issue everyone can benefit from, and integrate themselves in all areas of society, thus helping to decentralize from the ground up.

Here is the information that you requested:

Hello!

Create agreements.

My name is Remi and I hold a JD and a Masters Degree in Health Law.

Brāv is an online platform to manage conflicts. (www.brav.org http://www..brav.org/). In addition, anyone can train in conflict management and they in turn manage the conflicts of others, directly on the site.

If a term is violated, we hash out issues as well directly on the site. We would like to work with you! Please send over a proposal of courses, podcasts, or other thoughts, funding and promotional strategy.

Please register on brāv as a Brāv One or Mediator.

Hi @ngm00 Thanks for the proposal.

Can you please elaborate on how you plan to achieve the outcomes of the proposal?

decentralizing court conflicts through technological innovation

ngm00 commented 7 years ago

Yes,

  1. Training and managing conflicts on the premier online conflict management platform.
  2. Promoting alternative conflict management through online mediation in all areas of life, and education to those as young as two.
  3. Studying conflicts in real life as a practical supplement to learning.

As stated, "Conflict management raises emotional intelligence. Especially when so much is misinterpreted in business via a poorly worded email or a crisp hello in the hall. People are busy and for the most part don't intend to be abrupt or insensitive. Still it happens at some point to all of us. Then the gossip starts. The backbiting is what will bring down moral faster than your month end rolls around. Why not nip it in the bud? Why not have full transparency? Now there's a difference between transparency and disclosure. I don't believe it is fruitful for everyone to know what others are paid. In fact I've seen that be a contention between coworkers for along time. When I started working if you even mentioned what you were paid, you were fired. It creates jealousy and contempt. Transparency on the other hand creates understanding and bonding. Where she knows where you're coming from and he knows that you really are a sensitive caring person. "
