Design Thinking Workshop.

What is the goal or outcome of your session?

Realization of the need to updated the static, standardized education system in the developing countries to a dynamic and customized system that fosters creativity.

Logistics :

• A Hall Big Enough for the participants to comfortably sit in a workshop group set up where they are able to move around in the space. It should not be a class room set up. The chairs, table & white-boards should be movable in the Hall Space.
• Projector with VGA Connectivity
• Slide Changer
• Speakers & Audio Connectivity for the Laptop
• Mic [ depends on the size of the hall ]
• High Tables [ Number of tables = Total Participants / 6 ]
• High Chairs [ Number of chairs = Number of participants ]

Stationary [For 1 batch i.e. 24-30 participants] :

• Sharpie Pens in various colors 30
• Expo markers 30 Fat temporary markers to write on walls/boards
• Post-its 100 pads size: 3x5, various colors
• Adhesive dots 15 sheets voting dots - garage sale stickers
• Easels/Boards Number of participants/6
• Easel paper pads 6 sticky easel sizes
• painters tape 5 rolls
• Scissors 5 pair
• Construction paper 5 packs colored mix
• White A1 and A2 paper 1 ream Regular print paper

• Notepads 15 small notepads to take interview notes on [ can be replaced by participant notebooks]

• Prototyping supply buckets 5 Kids crafts buckets with pipe cleaners, stickers, modeling clay, etc , can be found at CVS or ToysRus Commercials : Travel
• Arrival : Flight bookings from the current city i.e. Bangalore to the Venue City [ Economy Class accepted for Educational & Pro Bono Projects. ]
• Return : Flight booking from the Venue City to the city I'd need to fly back to i.e. Delhi [ Economy Class accepted for Educational & Pro Bono Projects. ]
• Cab Services
  1. Arrival Transportation from Airport to Stay
  2. Transportation from Stay to Workshop Venue on the day(s) of Workshop
  3. Transportation from Workshop Venue to Stay on the day(s) of Workshop
  4. Departure Transportation from Stay to Airport

**Trains only applicable iff the journey is overnight and less than 6 hours

Stay : **This is not applicable in Mumbai since I have my own arrangement for the dates discussed. However, this needs to be confirmed for every trip.

• Dinner [ In case an official session/discussion/meeting extends beyond 08:00 PM in the Local Time Zone ]

Participant Details : All the participants are expected to fill up the Participation Form at least 5 days before the workshop. This would also be considered as a confirmation of their participation. The link to the form would be shared post confirmation.
