@WarwickTechVols @fudgemcgroobs can this activity run on a Pi, or does it need more beefy machines? We may have a few Mozilla laptops, but it is unlikely many attendees will bring their own (given they mainly will be kids), so it is hard to count on that.
@gbaman I apologise for the late response. BeetleBlocks can not run on a Pi unfortunately, so attendees who wish to participate would have to bring a laptop.
@fudgemcgroobs @WarwickTechVols I have not had a YouthZone facilitator administration online form be completed for this session. It has been emailed out twice now over the past few weeks to the email address associated with this session. Could this please be filled in ASAP or this session may not be able to take place. If you have any issues completing the form or have actually already filled it in, please let us know.
@gbaman we're sorry for not filling in the form yet but we haven't received it. We checked the address today.
Could you please try sending it to: --Removed email address--
We'll complete it asap!
@fudgemcgroobs I have emailed it over there.

What will happen in your session?
Participants will experiment with the Beetle Blocks application, making scripts using Snap!, and creating 3D shapes which will be printed. They will have the opportunity to learn the basics of Beetle Blocks, then to invent their own 3D creation or follow some loose guidelines.
What is the goal or outcome of your session?
The goal of this session is to experiment with the interesting features provided by Snap! and Beetle Blocks (e.g.: higher order functions and movement in 3D space). Participants will find out how to easily create 3D sculptures that they can print and use in real life.
If your session requires additional materials or electronic equipment, please outline your needs.
Paricipants must bring a laptop in order to take part.
