There is a typo in the title: "Expertitse." An extra "t." Would you mind fixing it? Thanks.
@villaronrubia! Better late than never! I've fixed the title :taco:

What will happen in your session?
Domains of One's Own (DoOO) is about empowering academics and students to take more ownership of their online presence. The session will introduce this concept and how it is relevant to teaching, learning and scholarly communication practices in Higher Education. This will be illustrated with examples from different institutions that have adopted that approach, with a particular focus on the work around Coventry.Domains – an initiative implemented at Coventry University by its Disruptive Media Learning Lab. After that introduction, we will then move on to discuss the creation of a new portal (DoOO Hub) aiming to gather case studies and resources contributed by academics and students engaged in that type of digital practices.
What is the goal or outcome of your session?
Besides discussing the value of DoOO for web-literacy capacity building and as a mechanism to foster the adoption of open educational practices at universities, the mail goal of the session is to gather feedback and suggestions from participants on the design of a portal or repository that will be built with the aim of sharing expertise. In particular, the session intends to generate ideas about potential strategies that could help involve an active community of contributors willing to share their experience and tips on how DoOO can be embedded into the curriculum and the professional practice of educators.
If your session requires additional materials or electronic equipment, please outline your needs.
We will need a projector, post-it notes and pens.
