What will happen in your session?

We would be starting our session with an introduction on Mixed Reality and its types (continuum and independent). In this session, he/she would experience the best aspects of both virtual reality and augmented reality. The participants would be taught, • How to create a Mixed Reality Application. • Then the participants would be provided with a demo on how to create a MR based environment. The hands-on session would provide the participants with a clear view on how a Mixed Reality Application works. -Introduction (15 min) -Teaching (20 min) -Hands-on session (45 min) -Conclusion (10 min)

What is the goal or outcome of your session?

Our session’s goal is to help the participants create their own applications using the Mixed Reality. The hands-on session would help them to understand the about the working of a Mixed Reality Application and help him/her to bring out their creativeness.

If your session requires additional materials or electronic equipment, please outline your needs.

Hello @likhitha20 thanks for submitting the session. I have a couple of questions:

1) I wanted to double-check about the travel stipend: Are you able to attend without, or is the stipend absolutely required for you to come to Mozfest? Let me know, thank you!

2) What kind of VR headsets will you require to run this session?

@flukeout Thank you so much for the response sir, it would be a great opportunity to attend MozFest.

  1. And yes we do need the stipend to attend MozFest, as travelling from India to UK is expensive. Due to the unavailability of Ameeth Kumar and Sonu Aman for this session, I want to replace them with Jayabalaji alone as additional facilitator.
  2. We would require the Google Cardboards.

Thanks for the clarification @likhitha20 - I'm guessing that Jayabalaji would need a travel stipend as well, correct? Is it possible to do the session without an additional facilitator? Has Jayabalaji proposed any sessions at this year's Mozfest? Thank you!

Hello @flukeout

  1. Yes, Jayabalaji would need the stipend along with me and Gowtham Rajamony.

  2. It would be better and easy to conduct the session with the additional facilitators.

  3. And yes, Jayabalaji has proposed some sessions for this year’s Mozfest as well as Gowtham Rajamony. Thank You!

Hello @likhitha20 - unfortunately we are not accepting your session for this year's festival. There were very many submissions and only a few travel stipends to give away so we had to make some tough decisions. Thank you for your understanding and for submitting your proposal.
