What will happen in your session?

First, we’ll start by showing off some of the best examples of educational interactives, both digital and physical. Then, we’ll lead a facilitated discussion about the strengths and weaknesses of each method, open questions about what interactivity can bring, and the future of interactive education. Finally, we’ll wrap up with some sketching & paper prototyping, that participants can later turn into full-fledged explorables of their own.

What is the goal or outcome of your session?

The primary goal is to have us, collectively, figure out the future of interactive education -- online, offline, and whatever hybrids may exist in the future. On top of that, we want to give the participants the mental framework, tools, and paper prototyping skills needed to create their own educational interactives!

If your session requires additional materials or electronic equipment, please outline your needs.

Ideally, we could use construction paper, post-it notes, and big ol' sharpies!

Thank you for taking the time to submit a session to MozFest. Due to the high level of submissions, we’re unable to accept all proposals and unfortunately, your session was not part of the final group.

Thank you for taking the time to submit and we will follow up on email very soon.
