This group has travel covered already- removing the stipend request
The Privacy and Security team took the ultimate decision to not take this proposal. We've had more than 3x the number of applications we can take, and there were several other sessions that were similar to this. Thanks for taking the time to apply for Mozfest!
The youth zone is interested in this session, would you be willing to modify this a bit and what are your thoughts on the idea of coming up with a youth led manifesto to present at the end of the fest?
Thanks for considering our proposal for the youth zone & and apologies for my late reply. I'll check in with my project collaborator and will be in touch. (If we have waited too long and there is no longer space, please let me know.)
We'd be interested in modifying this for the youth zone, including a manifesto at the end. Thanks for considering us!
congrats your session has been accepted
hey @shwetal27 - it's Hannah from the Digital Inclusion track. Can you let me know for what day/time you've scheduled this session? We've had a request from a facilitator to make sure one of our sessions doesn't conflict with this, if possible. Thanks!

What will happen in your session?
Following an introduction of how privacy and security issues affect the health of the Internet, participants will work at two stations. In Station 1, participants will evaluate types of data tracking to make informed decisions about how their data is shared. In Station 2, participants will create a document of best practices around privacy and security to share with library staff, patrons, family and friends.
We will bring both groups together to discuss ways in which we can work together toward staying safe on the web while maintaining a spirit of inclusion. Our discussion will include tools and resources needed to become leaders in this space.
What is the goal or outcome of your session?
Using collective knowledge and given resources, participants will evaluate types of data tracking and create their own plan for best practices of online security.
If your session requires additional materials or electronic equipment, please outline your needs.
We will need a projector, paper, pens, post-t notes, chart paper, markers and tape.
