Hey @natalia44 Is the Open Innovation space happy to cover Deji's travel stipend? If so, that would be great; I have also been in contact with him about a different session, so that's good to know.
Hey Melissa, unfortunately we had only 10 stipends to distribute, but I see in our spreadsheet the note "decentralisation fund" - @auremoser could you elaborate more?
@natalia44 @auremoser Oh I get it; because I told Decentralisation that I will be covering Deji's stipend, that's what this means. No problem! I can still cover his travel. I'm going to take off the "stipend request" label. Thanks!
Apologies for the delayed reply, I'm so sorry I missed this notification but it looks like it's been taken care of. Thank you @natalia44 and @Melechuga

What will happen in your session?
From electricity-guzzling server farms to tablets powered by Congolese conflict minerals, our choices as consumers in the digital age can have drastic environmental and human rights impacts. This session will share lessons from Access Now's collaboration with Lush, an ethical cosmetics company that makes its products from scratch and that does not pay for advertising. Together, we joined forces to amplify the #KeepitOn campaign to fight internet shutdowns (130 organizations; 56 countries) with a special bath product called an Error 404 bath bomb that raised over $200,000 to support grassroots digital rights organizations around the world. The money will be awarded to some 20 different organizations on the front lines of fighting for the open internet.
What is the goal or outcome of your session?
We’ll share important lessons from this exciting collaboration for activists, hackers, insights from Lush Digital Fund judges, and feedback from grant recipients. We’ll show how Lush and Access Now have upheld Mozilla’s commitment to the open internet and the ins and outs of working with activists. Participants will have an opportunity to grab their very own Error 404 bath bomb.
The goal is to introduce participants to new ways of collaborating to support the open internet. Participants will about ethical sourcing; private sector-non-profit collaborations; and the plague of internet shutdowns. We'll also share communications strategies and lessons from grantmaking. We'll also discuss projects like Fairphone, a sustainable smartphone company. (Fairphone's attendance TBC.)
If your session requires additional materials or electronic equipment, please outline your needs.
We may use a laptop to present a video. We would also likely bring special bath products and materials from Lush Digital Fund recipients.
