What will happen in your session?

This session will be a workshop for STEM educators on how will be the best way to educate in STEM at a child age in Subsaharian Africa. In fact, STEM education is a new concept in many African countries. After a great observation, there are many digital tools and ways of convincing all actors of education sector to think on or implement a real strategy and ethics rules to insert STEM education on primary schools training. Through this session, participants could learn more about benefits of STEM education for primary schools in , they could test by themselves digital tools for that education and would contribute to a Policy Draft for STEM education advocacy for Primary schools students in Africa.

What is the goal or outcome of your session?

The main goal of this session will be to identify and experiment Digital tools for STEM education of Primary school students in Subsaharian Africa. The immediate outcome will be to set a kind of Policy draft for Officials institutions (Governement, parlementarians, lawyers, Education sector), for Web&IT and Telecommunication companies, for communities advocates uses. In that countries,no organized classrooms or workshop sessions for STEM education exist in primary schools. A Policiy draft for introducing STEM education in primary schools need to be proposed.

Hi @dorothydaf Thanks for your proposal. Please could you let us know whether the stipend request is vital to your participation at Mozfest or whether you would have the means to attend without this?

Hi @ArtsAward . The stipend request is really vital for my Mozfest participation. I didn't have another way or option to fund my participation.

Hi @Dorothydaf unfortunately we will not be able to accept your session at this year's festival. We had many excellent submissions and simply do not have enough travel stipends available to accommodate everyone. Thanks for your understanding and for submitting your proposal.
