@epikhub Just to clarify this Minecraft proposal is from my 11 yr old son Miles session. I also submitted my own Minecraft proposal titled Creating Explorers & Risk Takers: Foster Emotional Intelligence through Civic Engagement and Minecraft.

@epikhub - yes we spoke of Miles in 2015. He's the reason I'm doing Minecraft programming - helping Miles pursue his passion has changed me in the process ;). I'm delighted to bring Miles to MozFest 2017 & look forward to having you meet him. The Youth Zone is amazing!!! Keep up the great work Dorine!!!

What will happen in your session?
Participants will attain the Minecraft skills needed to build with schematics, install mods with ease and use command block..
What is the goal or outcome of your session?
The goal is for novice builders to develop strategies for making, modding and using command blocks in Minecraft. An outcome of our session is to connect with like-minded makers in Minecraft,
If your session requires additional materials or electronic equipment, please outline your needs.
Participants will need to bring their own device (non Chromebook). This session will require access to WIFI.
