What will happen in your session?

It will be a one-hour session

First 10 Minutes will be an icebreaker- The participants will each share why they Joined the Internet.

20 minutes The participants will be grouped into groups with each group with 5 members. the partcipants will form a map of the world.

Then each group will illustrate why it is important for all people to be connected online.

Then the barriers will be written on sticky notes and pinned to the wall.

Each group will come up with a real life story of why inclusion is important. A group representative will share a human story.

Then the rest of the room will share of how we can get all these women online.

What is the goal or outcome of your session?

To empower the participants with practical ways in which they can empower themselves and other women to use the internet as a force for expression regardless of the challenges.

Unfortunately we didn't think this session was quite right for the Digital Inclusion space this year. I'm removing the milestone to allow other spaces to consider your proposal.
