What will happen in your session?

I will be teaching people how to write a song/poem and educating people how to use this as a therapy. I will be providing people with a step by step tutorial on how to write a song and then get all participants to have a go themselves. It will be a fun, creative session allowing people to connect with their creative/musical side and leave with knowledge and their very own song.

What is the goal or outcome of your session?

To teach people how to song/poem write to use this as a positive coping mechanism. The idea of writing your feelings on to paper is to prevent people using self harm and allow them to express their feelings rather than bottling them up.

I will be using a powerpoint and will be bringing my Mac Book.
