What will happen in your session?
Attendees will learn about the BBC micro:bit, the Raspberry Pi, and some basic Python skills. The focus of the session will be in allowing attendees to use the sensors on the micro:bit (accelerometer, buttons) to mvoe & control Steve around the Minecraft world, e.g.: shake to teleport, then later more advanced stuff.
What is the goal or outcome of your session?
For everyone to have some fun and to gain some basic understanding of how they can use Python, the Raspberry Pi and the micro:bit to interact with Minecraft.
If your session requires additional materials or electronic equipment, please outline your needs.
A micro:bit and microUSB cable per Raspberry Pi, as well as keyboard + mouse + monitor + power per unit.
