Suggestion - Solo Game for Cryptomancer #22

I was searching about OSR games, and one of those who called more for me was Heroes Against Darkness, specially because they have a Solo Game, The Sundered Tower that works as a sample game for the system for those who doesn't have a group and still wants to understand the system.

My idea (and I don't think I could implement it...) is: to create a Solo Game in the same way of The Sundered Tower (that is like the old-school Choose Your Own Adventure) and put it in ways that considers Cryptomancer rules and the ideas involved at Cryptomancy Challenge.

An idea of game:

Barkov Stringmeister is a Dwarf that is acknowledged as one of the best music instruments creator all the realms. However, it was since some days that no echoes from him came into Stringmeister private shardnet. The Stringmeister Golem and cryptoadmins also says that it was since long time that the last message came from Barkov. Also, the cryptoadmin says that he couldn't saw where Barkov's shard his, even using a Shard Scry, and the location of it is hidden somehow. The last message was from Barkov to Lady Laressa Stringmeister, a sugary love letter with a very common, easy keyphrase of PumpkinLove.

The group will be contracted to find Barkov, and will receive as a lent to the mission a Shard for the Stringmeisters' Shardnet. The objetive is to track back him to his whereabouts and bring him back or bring revenge to him.

Some suspects that Barkov was victim of enemies, because no one had seen, and on his original destination no one saw him.

Could Barkov had messed with a Risk Eater? Or an enemy cash some favor against him? Could the sugary message for Lady Laressa contains any cryptomessage laced on it, on simpler but effective information noising? Why a music instruments constructor could disappears?
