Align comms messaging with platforms and audiences

This is maybe not the right issue title, but ... @HPaulJohnson and @KevZawacki I know have been working on some messaging templates for our various properties. We could probably do a similar audit of messaging as we are planning for design, but perhaps we three can meet and talk about this and how this can be applied across properties. Some questions –

Can we tighten the focus on our particular audiences?
Are there categorical ways to describe what needs a website / what doesn't? Comms guidelines?
How are some of the terminology we use in strategic plan, ie. hub, explained and manifested in our IA?

@KevZawacki Can you please paste a link to that doc you shared in the last comms council meeting?

Sam Burton is also working on a Comms plan. I am meeting with her next week to hear more.

Following up. Here is the comms plan for communicating 2020 work internally.

Its intent matches that of this ticket -- to adapt our broader messaging to specific communities, audiences, etc.

How it will likely manifest: We'll have platform/audience ambassadors (say, Sam D. for Hive) "localize" a boilerplate 2020 one-pager for the MLN community.
