Scan Working Open / Open Leadership trainings outside the Foundation

Including:

Note from Rizwan: The discussion with the Media Lab team was a start but we need to go deeper – much deeper. I understand Philipp’s point about us not being to replicate the in-person experience of a camp, and that each of the session was led by an independent faculty member, but having co-taught at a business school with the case method, I know that a faculty member comes into a class/session with a clear idea of the core principles, lessons, concepts and ideas that the person wants to land through the case study discussion that day. We need to get to that level of insight/depth. I’ve discussed this with Mark and he has offered to work with us to reverse-engineer the sessions so we can get to those core underlying principles, lessons, concepts and ideas.

Currently working here (sloppy notes doc)

Update on this issue @acabunoc @rtufail @chadsansing I've added my info from my scans to a second tab in Abby's original doc.

Comments:

P2PU and Creative Commons teamed up for School of Open-- SoO is on P2PU-- so these two items are the same. SoO was

I did additional scans of material I came across from Allied Media, FabRiders, Rockwood, and others that seemed relevant. These mostly are practice-based: on sharing, on facilitation, on strategy-- and are separated out by green dividers in the doc. I could continue to gather these, but would like feedback on current product.

Let me know if this is useful, if more is needed, or something different. It's my understanding that Chad has done the MIT Media Lab case study deep dives with Mark, and that task no longer falls to me.

Cheers, Zannah 😸
