Dare provided an overview of his involvement and current landscape of Savannah. He was pitched clubs as an option as he currently states that there is loose network of not-for-profits, educator networks in the underserved area of the city.

He was invited to the May 21 Global Community Call and to fill out the Hive Interest Form

Hi, Simona.

Thanks for checking in. At the moment I'm having conversations, bit by bit, with potential partners. I've had fruitful conversations about Hive to a couple Savannah orgs. And I'm currently at the Red Clay Writing Project's Summer Institute at the University of Georgia in Athens, GA (about 4 hours from Savannah). And I've mentioned Hive to a couple public school educators here--which would be working toward a regional Hive.

Because of the institute (we have packed days) I won't have time to talk before June 18. But I can talk after I return on June 25.

Deep Center just a grant from NEA Our Town and he thinks this is great momentum to become a nexus of Hive activity over the coming year

Dare is dialing into office hours on Friday July 24.

Dare has gone a little quiet this month but he mentioned that he would be a bit busy this month. I am currently following up with him about the NEA grant.
