Vikas is the main contact and we had a conversation today and he outlined all practices/events/roadblocks currently. They had Hive pop-up on March 13 and 14 but the budget from the Reps Council was denied budget which caused a lot of issues.

They have connected with 20 schools and 18 of them sent youth to the event. They also have solid support from local government and council which has given them dedicated space for Hive Vizag: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HJHfpO0CRME (skip to 1:00)

They have 21 organizations that have committed to being the first co-hort (I have asked Vikas repeatedly if he could list them in a monthly report or in the Hive Interest Form). We discussed the onboarding process and despite the process of bringing the Hive to Vizag has been happening, we need information to ensure that we are all on the same page. He has committed to at minimum at 1 Friday office hour and the monthly report.

Sent reminder email to Vikas about updated documentation. It was promised before June 28th.

Vikas has found a provincial grant that could secure operational funding and ask that Hive global provide writing support for grant. I let him know that we don't have the capacity to write an Indian grant but if he could provide the documents i.e grant application, major information it would be a good start.

Call was on Thursday July 16 and follow up to remind him about documentation sent July 22

Vikas has begun to include Dinesh Kumar, IT Promotion Officer, this is an email from him:

This is Dinesh Kumar - IT Promotion Officer, ITE&C Dept.

Mr. Vikas was telling that your trying to apply as a Pilot Incubator in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

The eligibility criteria for Pilot Incubator is to have the certificate from the NSTEDB (National Science and Technology Entrepreneur Development Board.

I hereby attaching the application form in which you need to fill it and submit to the dept, along with the company profile, and the relevant documents like (i) Detail project proposal along with Action plan (ii) Annual report for last three years (iii) Balance sheet of last three years (iv) Registration certificate under Companies Act (v) Approval Letter from NSTEDB, DST, GOI.
