Current Activities since August 2015 taken from Sanda Hyte e-mail: • We renamed the network to Seattle Learning Network (Hive-Seattle) • We scheduled and led a meet up with grad students from the College of Education at UW • We attended Seattle EdTech Meetup and engaged interest from meetup participants • Started a website: http://seattlelearningnetwork.com/ (work in progress) • Started a google thread: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/seattle-learning-network (work in progress) • We'll be creating a twitter handle • We've been holding bi-weekly meetings for the core group (we just had our latest meeting today, Sunday Oct. 18th) • We're planning for a launch kick-off meetup scheduled for sometime in January 2016.
