Q. Why do you think this is important? & How does this help students? A. People want to get started with VR, they come across Unity, etc. The learning curve for that is very steep. So, people tend miss out on VR and/or AR. So, my talk will students aware about the Aframe Library.
Q. How did this help you? A. I had a very low end machine. So, this option was the best. I had to give a presentation in my class, I used Aframe.io to build my slides. The teacher was impressed with the effort.
Q. Is this restricted to any particular group of people? A. Not everyone is interested in VR, but, I'll try my best to have an interactive session so that, people actually atleast make their resume on VR, that'll will really cool.
Hi @suhailsinghbains! Thanks for the proposal! Are you planning a hands-on session as well? Or only a talk?
Hi @kindavishal ! I'll add a small hands-on demo of Aframe (5 mins) and AR.js (5 mins)
Okay! Alright Cool! For the slides, can you provide them before the event? If not then you'll have to update the issue after your talk is over so that we can forward the same to the attendees
I'll make a proper slideshow, host it on the web. And share the link here in 1-2 days :)
Okay awesome! 😄
Hi @suhailsinghbains Can you provide an abstract of your talk which would attract people to your talk and which describes what they can learn from it? This is needed for the banners. You can take example from this: https://github.com/MozillaPunjab/Talks/issues/3
Introduction to FF Reality & Glitch
Introduction of Aframe.io & AR.js
Live Coding with Suhail on Aframe.io: Create a simple HTML app.

This is for?
Hi Suhail, have you made your slides yet?
Congrats on your first talk man, totally rocked it, I loved it personally! Looking forward to more! Additionally, if it's not too much to ask, it'll be great if you can summarise your talk in a few sentences, did it go as you planned? What went well and what did go so great! Thanks :sparkles:
I gave my First Ever Talk at Lovely Professional University, in the event "Dive Into Open-Source". My topic was Introduction to VR(Aframe.io) & AR(AR.js). At first, I was not comfortable with the topic, and didn't want to leave my comfort zone. But, my friends pushed me to go. Looking at the show-up on the first day, I got even more nervous, my talk was on the second day. But, I thought to myself, I can always go back to Delhi and pretend that this never happened. My talk was mostly involved HTML & simple JS so, it was interactive. And I could feel that people genuinely will be completing the task of making a PR to my GitHub Repo. This is link of my slides0. The hands on session was too interactive and most of the students followed correctly and were able to easily make a WebVR scene. Some of them have contacted me on Telegram group. This was one of the best experiences I had in a while. At last, I would like to thank MozPunjab Team and everyone who attended the session in person or remotely :) Cheers Links
Hi @suhailsinghbains reopening the issue! Thanks for the Post Event follow up, Appreciated :sparkling_heart:
