  2. an advanced explanation of git version control system.
  3. The correct way of starting contributing to big FOSS Organizations.
  4. elaborate hands-on of many worst mistakes when doing git version maintenance.

• Prerequisites & reading material (Distributed before the session)

  1. an explanation of most used Git commands
  2. terminology explained
  3. the Git Cheatsheet

  Install Git

  • Linux
  • Windows

Check installation by running git version in a command prompt/ terminal window

• Time required for the talk

  1 hour + 30 minutes for hands-on

• Link to slides / demos to be uploaded
• Platforms that you may use Linux, Windows or MacOS
• Measure Success(How will you measure the Success of your talk?) contributions as seen in hands-on
