IMO, it is very difficult to discern creatures from objects/rocks in the landscape. There are no faces. The colours all kind of blend in (which I covered in #18), and it's unclear that there are objects that can become alive by my doing something.
If there were Zzz…s or snoring noises or faces or something, it'd be much clearer that there are creatures sleeping that I am supposed to wake up.
