I don't know why did you write this code while you yourself know this won't work. I didn't run the code myself and didn't really check the whole code. But I stumbled upon the endpoint that you are using in your endpoint. The endpoint to add other userIDs to a group will not directly work. This is a GET endpoint and has no CSRF token with it. Therefore, there is no way you can get this working.
