Probably, yes. I don't think there is a workaround here unless I implement code signing (expensive?) and make sure Microsoft/antivirus creators don't flag it. I'm not sure if the signing is necessary but either way would improve the credibility of the software.

Its been a long time but I found this useful website from Microsoft letting you scan a file for malware analysis, and it says: "Submit files you think are malware or files that you believe have been incorrectly classified as malware" Already uploaded 1.3.4 to it.

Sooo yeah. I know this isn't a virus as I use a version I compiled myself using the source code. Pretty sure it's because of the DLL calls.
