rfe? integration with tag/pagelist plugin #2

It would be really useful for me if I could use Tags as a search/sort criterion... Is there a way to do that? Could pagequery maybe support the tagindex of the tag plugin?

I'm thinking about a way to build a "Tree of tags" like:

Smartphones

OS-Tag1

wifi

groupware

etc

OS-Tag2

wifi

groupware

etc.

Sounds like you should be speaking to the makers of the Tag plugin! They use a different index for storing the Tags so this would not be an easy request to fulfill, but I will have a look and see what is possible. However from your example it looks like you want to use the tags both for display and searching, which would not really compliment the way pagequery works (it displays page names only)

Another option would be to use the "SubjectIndex" plugin instead of "Tag", with that you could achieve something similar with much less effort
