Just want to note that with ESP-IDF 3.2 I also had to go to:
Component Config --> Bluetooth --> Bluetooth Controller --> Bluetooth Controller mode
and change it to Bluetooth Dual Mode.

Otherwise I was getting the error BT_AV: bt_speaker_start enable controller failed below.
