What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. ./autogen.sh then ./configure
2. Configure ends at boost
3. Ends with checking for boost/thread.hpp... no
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Compiling from source on debian wheezy/ crunchbang
Please provide any additional information below.
I've attempted to fix the issue through boost, but in my layman state I'm not
getting very far...
