you've provided no info here that is useful to diagnose the issue

what type of media was used? USB? SD?
how is the media formatted
how are you running the Firmware Util script?
- crosh shell, logged in as normal user?
- crosh shell, logged in as a guest?
- from a VT2/chronos terminal?
what is the exact error you received?

I got the same error i want to download windows 10 I use the shell terminal and I use usb stick
