On board microsd slot not detecting card - Acer Chromebook 514 - Windows 10 #612

After successfully removing the write protect with the battery removal method, flashing with MrChromebox firmware and installing windows10, The microsd slot does not detect a card when inserted.

All drivers have been loaded from your specific procedure and device manager displays Intel host controller under 'SD Host adaptors' and SD storage class controller under 'Storage controllers'

I have gone into the MrChromebox bios to see if there was a setting to enable, but could not find one

does it work under a Live Linux USB? If the device is enabled and visible to the OS, not sure why media detection would not work
