Decided to open ZS: R suggestions for miscalleneous mechanics that could perhaps be added at some point in development.
Wave 6 Super Boss
On wave 6, a super boss should spawn instead of a normal boss, the super boss you would spawn as would be completely random but it would basically be a well-rounded boss, capable of doing multiple tasks, there could be one or two different kind of super bosses you could get (as in super boss classes).
Alternatively, super bosses could spawn instead of normal bosses if human-to-ratio is extremely unbalanced and in favour of the human team (Say, there are 20 humans and only one or two zombies for example), this could have a convar.
Last Human Music Randomizer
With this, one could add multiple last human songs and the last human song that plays would be completely random, that way there can always be variety when it comes to music, a convar for this could exist.
Alternate Trader Gamemode Variant
Perhaps there could be gamemode variant in which instead of the normal arsenal crates, a ghostly NPC trader sells guns, ammo and so on after each wave and spawns in different parts of the map, once the waves start, the NPC would vanish and only re-appear after the new wave ends, I like this concept quite a lot, it could perhaps even use a convar too so you can enable it whenever!
Gamemode Variant Randomizer
Name is self-explainatory! A convar should exist so you can choose a couple of options, that way players would never have to rely on playing obj and ze maps to play something different, with this players could randomly get to not have to worry about sigils (rounds with no sigils), or perhaps have a chance to play classic mode out of the sudden, or even the gamemode variant that I have mentioned above.
NPC Mini Quests
Perhaps scripted stationary (non-moving) NPCs could exist, and you would have to do certain tasks, for example, protect them for X amount of time, find medicine for them (give it by pressing E on them), give them each gun and so on and in turn they could give you certain rewards to help you survive, perhaps rare weapons or items. A convar would be needed for this as well, of course, as not every owner may want to introduce this.
Z Class Variant Chance
Rarely, zombies may have a slight chance of spawning as certain zombie class, but powered up (more HP, more damage and even more speed) than usual, perhaps even give them slightly different looks. The more kills a player has, the more likely it is that they will spawn as a Z variant, all with a convar, of course.
Z Class Skin Variant
Very similar to the above, except the focus of this one would be entirely cosmetic, for example normal zombies, fast zombies and poison zombies could have different skin variety (Sabrean's zombie reskins perhaps?), I think this would make it much better so it's not always the same old zombies with the same choice of clothes over and over.
Integrated ZS cosmetic shop
People would be able to buy team-specific cosmetics with a single button, no Pointshop 1/2 required!, For example humans could maybe buy hats while zombie classes could buy a cosmetic bloody aura, etc etc
Integrated Guild System
This system would enable you to use /g or /guild (or !g / !guild) to let you speak through a guild chat, this chat would only work while the player is human, writing !guilds would let you be able to see how many guilds the server has. Guild members would see their fellow guild members with a blue circle under them, guild creating would have certain restrictions, basically make it so only very specific ranks can create guilds or maybe even making it so creating a guild costs in-game money (PS 1/ PS 2 currency maybe?)
I can imagine guilds having a cooldown of sorts when it comes to creating them, that would make things interesting as well.
The commands would be the following:
!g texthere or !guild texthere to communicate with your guild through text
!gcreate or !gc to create a guild
!gjoin or !gj to request joining to a guild
!ginvite or !gi to invite a player to your guild
!guilds lets you see the list of guilds there are in the server in total.
