Sprinting not working - MacOS / Nintendo Pro Controller #458

Hi There. Sorry if this is just me being stupid but it seems that I am unable to sprint while playing. I have confirmed that the left stick input is reading correctly (i swapped some keybinds), and that toggle sprint is enabled; my character automatically sprints when i press w on a keyboard but not when I hold the stick.

Information: Version : 1.20.1 (newest version as of 25 september 2023) Keybinds: updated using in game button Device/OS: MacOS Ventura Controller: nintendo switch pro controller

how did you get the switch controller to work on mac with controllable? In my testings, the controller is detected, but minecraft doesnt detect any input. i had to use an xbox controller.
