(BUG) Controllable [FORGE] Jumping and Joystick Movement not recognised by certain mods #467

Some mods that require movement or jumping to control an entity (such as Valkyrien Skies, or Ad Astra) do not recognize jumping or controllable stick movement at all when trying to control the entity. The mods do however accept action keybinds such as shifting and left/right clicking

I am running minecraft 1.20.1 Forge, my OS is Linux Mint 21.2 Cinnamon
