Importing images doesn't work

I made a chest model but when I tried to import an image it just didn't work. This is how I try to import it: I open Texture Manager and I pressed New Texture. Then I navigate to a 16x16 picture I made inside a "Select a Texture" window. Sometimes I double click the image and sometimes I use the select button. The "Select a Texture" window then disappear but the image I selected is not added to Texture Manager. I don't get any errors. I am using version 0.7.0 (latest). I tried import a picture to SpriteCraft and it worked. Also, I know it worked when I downloaded this Model Creator two weeks ago. I deleted all programs I installed during these two weeks except Java 1.8.0 211, Microsoft SDK, Microsoft Visual Studio, Windows Kits, Steam, Application Verifier, NuGet and HTTracker. During this time I also disabled Paging Executive.
