Cannot connect to ubuntu box

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. launch Android VNC
2. enter ip / port / password
3. loops on "Establishing handshake. Please wait..."

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Instead of connecting to my ubuntu box, it keeps looping on "Establishing
handshake. Please wait..."

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
build 081205 on G1 android

Over wifi on my home LAN I can connect to my Ubuntu 8.10 box just fine.  
However,
when trying to connect over T-Mobile's Edge network, I also get the 
"Establishing
handshake. Please wait..." message until it finally times out and androidVNC 
has a
message that it had to abort.

I have tried it over wifi at my work and I recive that message. I did not try 
it on my network, however I 
tired connecting to my linux from my iphone on the same wifi network using 
lightvnc and was successful

Can you access other services on your Ubuntu over the edge network?  I get that
timeout when the host can not be found.

The general crashing behavior is probably fixed now with the tiling change.
