add src directory and settings files #17

I added a gitignore for C and moved the c files into directory src. I also added settings.c and settings.h, but they have no functionality and are not included in build.sh yet.

I also added some more detail to README.md

In the latest commit I added a few of these changes along with a Makefile, but I didn't add the settings files because I had no idea what it was for and I don't like committing empty files

Gonna close this for now
