doesnt start on dwm without compositor #211

image this is what happens when i run it, the program starts but it doesnt draw anything i think this could be related to the fact i dont use any compositors, but on the older version it worked perfectly fine.

Your locale isn't set, try running like LANG=en_US.UTF8 activate-linux or set it correctly for whatever distro you're on

im on i3 now, also without compositor, my locale is a correct one yet it still silently fails
