So, here's my idea. There could be some random structures that spawn, with gates (some require other mods, such as one that uses OC to dial, so it can be used as an example, and it's modled after SG Command), one that generates on the ocean floor, and is modled after atlantis (Your choice is add some sort of shield, or just replace whater with air, know that a block update will cause a flood), and more. Some could be large pyrimids in deserts, just like the Gohalud used. There is also a chance for it to be just a gate on a pedestal (Most common, the SG one spawns just once (After all, only one SG command)), or maybe a few more, but far apart. Atlantis is slightly more common, so on. Still the gates must have massive seperation.
Now, I think perhaps every gate a player uses should be added to some hidden property, and a mysterious page gives them the cooridininte of a non-player-constructed gate that they have never been too. if you have been to all, then it does what it currently does. Also, the structures should (With different varients), generate in other dimensions, and the mysterious page can lead there too. When you download this mod, it will use the three default dimensions for random structures, but in the config you can add other dimensions. Then, you, as a player, desing the structures that generate, it makes a file, and there you set what dimension(s) it can spawn in, and how common it is.
