[BUG] Game crashes when joining an existing world with tamed minecraft:wolf entities #9

minecraft crashes whenever i try to join a world with wolfs already in it had to disable the mod kill a wolfs around me and spawn new one

I experienced the same issue when adding the mod and loading up my world again; I have a dog right by where I was standing. Attached is the crash report. crash-2023-05-03_20.39.16-server.txt

Hello, this might be a bug that's probably not going to get fixed as I don't think there really is a way to fix this.

If you spawn a wolf with this mod on and tame it, you can actually check using F3 menu that the dog is no longer the Minecraft's default wolf entity but rather a custom entity. In a nutshell you can think of it like that Minecraft's default tamed wolf entity just doesn't exists and that's why your game crashes as it's trying to load an unknown entity. Same would be vise versa if you would try to load a modded world with this custom entity using just vanilla Minecraft.
