Fields values to auto-reselect :

One great (and unique) thing about Nuke is, when a value is entered/changed in a field, it is automatically reselected, so one doesn't have to reselect it manually to change it again.

Nodes size :

In Natron 3 snapshot, nodes had (at last) an horizontal shape. This avoids nodes names to be displayed in two lines. They could even be like 20% wider an thiner.

Dots size :

Could they be much smaller. They are designed to organize the flow graph, not to be that much visible.

Shuffle :

Since v 2.3.7, the Shuffle passes through B by default. Is it possible it gets connect to the B input by default when created ?

PyPlugs node color :

After being exported, PyPlugs don't retain their node color. It may be due to the fact that they are scanned before the GUI is being instanced. That may sound of a small importance, but it would be nice to have them have their own node color. Like all the other nodes.

I know those few adjustments are not of any technical/technological interest. They don't provide any new astounding feature to Natron, but user experience IMHO is part of an application toolset. So, these are just a few suggestions that may enhance a little bit that side of Natron.

Thanks

Hi Fabrice

  • these are issues, noot a pull request (a pull request contains code changes)
  • please post a separate issue for each
  • the Shuffle stuff is already implemented, it is a preference, as in NUke
