Some configurations does not work, some are exact the same #532

I have just tried Bumblebee on my Asus U31Jg, and it worked, eventually. But I discovered a bug (?):

The automatic configuration of my system pulls configuration-examples from http://www.martin-juhl.dk/bumblebee/?searchitem=U31Jg&search=1 -- As you can see there are two configuration from Dan B, and five others.

The two from Dan B does not work, is there a way I can tell the community they do not seem to work?

And four of the five other is exactly the same configuration, isn't it better to merge them? The last (mine) is also the same, but for an other distro.

It would also be nice if I could get the distro-name listed when I chose a configuration.

We have a lot of work to do on the DB, on everything you said is already in mind.

Will there be separate DB for "blessed" configurations and another one for new submissions? It would be nice to have those blessed ones included with bumblebee (it would help with offline upgrades and would make instalation on known HW simpler)
