asus1215n no such device #553

after moving to ppa receiving following error

optirun64 glxgears

Starting Bumblebee X server bumblebee Enabled nVidia card FATAL: Error inserting nvidia_current (/lib/modules/2.6.38-10-generic/updates/dkms/nvidia-current.ko): No such device . [ OK ]
Stopping Bumblebee X server bumblebee [fail] ERROR: Module nvidia does not exist in /proc/modules Disabled nVidia card

From which version did you upgrade?

try sudo rmmod nouveau then sudo bumblebee-configure and try it again, if that works blacklist the nouveau module.

rmmod is causing freeze of the system :( , last version that was working was 1.6.42, so moving back to this one...

after coming back from my vacation :( I've tried to blacklist my noveau driver, it looks bit better now, but still getting error... ( maybe different configuration is required?

just noticed at the end of optirun:

optirun_launcher glxgears

/usr/bin/optirun64: 1: optirun_launcher: not found
