ubuntu 11.10 $VGL_DISPLAY problem (dell XPS L502x) (Display :8 is already in use...) #159

Hello,

There is a next problem: when I start the ironhide-configuration with "default" settings the next message appears:

Starting Ironhide X server ironhide
- Display :8 is already in use, consider changing $VGL_DISPLAY in /etc/default/ironhide [fail]
- Stopping Ironhide X server ironhide
  Ironhide hasn't been configured for power management, please run ironhide-configuration. [ OK ]
- Starting Ironhide X server ironhide

(such situation with all configs)

When I change VGL_display to :0 the system logs out during the configuration (I work in gnome-classic).

Can anybody help?
