High CPU Usage #166

I'm still getting crazy high cpu usage using Ironhide. using optirun glxgears, it goes to around 60-70% cpu usage(not as bad as it was when using 11.04, maybe because of better Sandy Bridge support). But this is still very high, and is resulting in large amounts of heat, especially when playing games(it is probably much higher cpu when playing a game).

I am using proxy mode right now. EDIT: I get roughly the same cpu usage and performance using xv

I got every app running through optirun with 90-100% cpu. CPU heating up to 90 degrees and games starting to have huge fps spikes which are very annoying. I can lower cpu usage with cpulimit but it creates some video lags which are even more annoying.

Ya not long ago, my cpu reached 90 degrees for the first time. Since then, I prop my laptop up on the back to provide slightly better airflow. It seems to have helped a little, but it would still be nice if this did not occur.
