I like this as an option, but I'm going to default it to off. I've implemented levenshtein distance searching, which means that you can have a 0 app search turn into an N app search by adding a new character. I really like this type of "fuzzy search", but it doesn't play great with ideas like this.
Honestly, Exploring the apps in Olauncher by typing a letter is hard, since instantly it opens an app that matched what you typed, which in most cases are a couple of the beginning letters.
Having this feature as an option is great, that way the user can choose between the two.
This will be available in 1.4.5. The setting is "Open App When Last Option". The criteria is
I really like this launcher, it's very fast for opening the most used apps by gestures. But for other apps beside searching for it, we have to tap the app icon, which makes opening other apps a bit slow.
There's a feature in Olauncher which automatically opens the app when there's one option that matches what you type it.
I like to see this feature been implemented, It would make opening the searched app much faster.
