What is your first impression of the game? I like the atmosphere! The music combined with the environment generates a bit scary feeling which is suitable for your theme I guess.
Is there any confusion regarding how to control the game? I saw the instruction to press E, but nothing happened when I did it so a bit confused. Also it didnt show which keys to make movement.
Does the game atmosphere convey a sense of horror/mystery? Yes I think the way you create the atmosphere is very nice
Does the game mechanic of “switching perspective to find clues” work? If not, what can be changed/improved? I didnt really know what I should look for during the darkness because when I looked around something seemed special on the screen.
Listen, I'm a huge coward and I don't do well at all with horror games. It might not take much to spook me, but ya spooked me. Good job. Hope you're proud.
What is your first impression of the game? I think the forest area in general looks really nice - I think what really sells it is the audio and ambience. Really oppressive and tense, especially after you've taken the pills and everything's turned red.
Is there any confusion regarding how to control the game? None at all, felt very intuitive. Wasn't sure whether or not I had to press E multiple times, or if my input was delayed?
Does the game atmosphere convey a sense of horror/mystery? It doo. The weird emission orb worried me and I was unsure whether or not it was going to jump at me. Even had to check the project files to make sure you hadn't hidden a jump scare in there somewhere.
Does the game mechanic of “switching perspective to find clues” work? If not, what can be changed/improved? I think so - I'd love to see a clearer visual indicator of how many pills you've taken or what your current state is, if that makes sense? The change is very jarring, in a great way, so it'd be nice to see more stuff appear once that happens. The sound is also great and got me spooked.
